WIN A KITTY FINEGAN LIMITED EDITION PRINT

Graphic Artist, Cabaret Artiste, and all-round Decent Northern Lass, Kitty Finegan produces memorable, mischievous, and occasionally timeless art; infused with colour, emotion and a dusting of Razzle Dazzle. Her work is designed specifically for print and is currently produced using the giclée method of printmaking. Her love of lists, catalogues and setting the scene has steered her recent work into themes; concentrating on the female form and all of its emotional and physical entanglements. Simple ideas mingled with intricate graphic detail, juicy colour schemes and a cheeky title, reflect Kitty Finegan's passions: 1960's hair doo's, comics, beer mats, pin-up art, one-liners and early printing methods.

Kitty has enjoyed great succes at the Glasgow Art Fair over the last five years, and was commissioned in 2005 along side Ben Allen and Simon Dixon, to organize a group show in the inauguration of the Q! Gallery, Glasgow. Her work has been featured in Men's Health Magazine, Latest Homes and can currently be seen in Art of England Magazine along side Banksy and Beryl Cooke in an article about the Glasgow Art Fair. As well as private collectors in Los Angeles, Sydney, and throughout the UK, Kitty's work has been bought by The Velvet Hotel in Manchester, Scurator Architectural Design and Zabu Interiors in Barcelona.

Kitty Finegan was commissioned to design a full page ad for PopChoc in the June/July edition of Aesthetica Magazine. The ad features a selection of her limited edition prints that can be seen on Kitty's website and on her GALLERY PAGE.

To launch the competition page, we have decided to make things really easy for you, all you will need is a copy of the June/July edition of Aesthetica Magazine. The Magazine explores the best in arts and culture, the varied nature of the arts and recognises the combination of different art forms into one cultural whole. They publish features, interviews, news and reviews, and believe that the arts are interdisciplinary with many artists blurring the lines between genres and crossing boundaries in their work.

The winner will be chosen at random and contacted by PopChoc in person. Closing date for this competion is 31st July 2009. The prize will be from the "pop" edition of the respective print which measure 30cm x 30cm and are from an edition of 150 .
