The annual festival of Artists Open Houses, which takes place every May during the Brighton Festival, is quite simply, the biggest free arts event in Britain. The Artists Open Houses offer a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see artwork displayed in a domestic setting and to buy affordable work direct from local artists and makers.
PopChoc's Open House is called The Rock n Roll Boudoir, a very fitting name for the type of work we will be showing. We have paintings & prints by Kitty Finegan, Precious Murphy, Ben Allen, and Simon Dixon. Crazy canvasses and PopArt Jewelry by Lisa Ashcroft, Vintage, Rockabilly & Burlesque Headwear by Sakura Designs who supply their fantastic creations to some of the UK's top Burlesque performers. Eileen Butler, a lighting artist will be showing her Boudior Style Lamps, especially created for this event. We will also have a large selection of Greeting Cards by Precious Murphy, Kitty Finegan and Angela Fu & Ben Allen.
